Notre Dame already landed a commitment from Pennsylvania Running Back Josh Adams. However, Notre Dame is still pursuing several Running Backs including Plano West Running Back Soso Jamabo.

Playing in one of the toughest areas in high school football, Jamabo rushed for 2774 yards on 345 times with 34 touchdowns in two years of football. Additionally, he caught 35 balls for 678 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Jamabo would fit perfectly into Notre Dame’s system, which is similar to the scheme he plays with in high school. He can run out of the shotgun formation and he is adept at catching the football.

To land his signature, Notre Dame will need to battle UCLA, Baylor and Texas A&M. Soso Jamabo visited Notre Dame during their 31-0 shutout of Michigan. Many expected him to pull the trigger during that weekend. However, he left South Bend without becoming Irish. Since then, Jamabo visited UCLA and was offered by Ole Miss. Notre Dame is still in the mix. But, it is no longer a slam dunk.
