Iman Marshall
The 5-star Cornerback visited Notre Dame for the banquet weekend. Marshall also visited Florida State and Michigan. LSU will receive a visit from the California Cornerback next weekend.
Marshall hails from Long Beach, California. He plays at Poly High School, the same high school of former Notre Dame recruit and current USC Trojan John “JuJu” Smith.
Notre Dame, and all teams not named USC, face an up-hill battle in landing the 5-star Cornerback. USC is almost guaranteed as a landing spot for Marshall.
Prediction: USC
Justin Reid
Dutchtown High School Safety Justin Reid set an official visit to Notre Dame for January 24th. Reid also set official visits for Stanford and LSU on January 17th and January 31st respectively.
Justin Reid hails from Geismar, Louisiana and plays for Dutchtown High School. He checks in at 6-0, 193 lbs. Reid claims a 4.64 40-yard dash.
Experts believe Reid is headed to LSU. This is likely for three reasons. First, Reid’s brother, Eric, played at LSU and currently plays for the San Francisco 49ers. Second, LSU typically cleans up in their own state. Third, the January 31st visit gives Les Miles and his staff the last word.
Prediction: LSU
