Parker Boudreaux To Visit Notre Dame on April 24th

4-star Offensive Tackle prospect Parker Boudreaux announced he will visit Notre Dame on April 24th.

Boudreaux hails from Orlando, Florida and plays for Bishop Moore Catholic High School. He holds an insane 71 offers from Division 1 programs including Clemson, Miami (FL), Notre Dame, Penn State, Auburn and Ohio State.

Initial recruiting rankings list Boudreaux as one of the top prospects in the country. 247Sports ranks him at 140th overall. ESPN lists him slightly lower at 222nd. Rivals does not rank him nationally but rates him as a 4-star prospect like 247 and ESPN.

All three recruiting services list Parker Boudreaux as an Offensive Tackle. But after viewing his highlights, it is clear that Boudreaux would be best utilized as a Guard at the next level.

His best attribute is as a devastating run blocker. Boudreaux plays to the echo of the whistle and probably the echo of subsequent whistles that implore the 6’4″ 264lbs. linemen to cease punishing overmatched defenders. His size and athleticism are solid but project better to Guard. If Boudreaux lines up at Tackle in college, it will be on the right side of the Offensive Line.

Even though Parker Boudreaux does not project well as an Offensive Tackle in college, this does not mean he is not one of the top Offensive Linemen in the country. Of course, all of the statements about his ability to play Offensive Tackle in college can change as Boudreaux grows and becomes more athletic.

The April 24th visit date is an interesting side note. Boudreaux’s visit may be aligned with the yet to be announced Blue-Gold Game, which also does not have a home due to the construction on Notre Dame Stadium.
