The top player on Notre Dame’s board is St. Ignatius Offensive Tackle Liam Eichenberg. Eichenberg ranks in the Top 10 in the country. The Irish already hold a commitment from Elder Offensive Tackle Tommy Kraemer. Adding Eichenberg may create an excellent one-two tandem at Tackle. However, the Buckeyes and Irish are in the Top 2 for the Cleveland product.
The 2nd player, Josh King, is perhaps the most important player on Notre Dame’s list. The Irish have not landed a Defensive End in the Top 10 since Notre Dame landed 10th-ranked Strongside Defensive End, Issac Rochelle. The Irish are in the Top 5.
Outside Linebacker Daelin Hayes committed to USC following the “Irish Invasion”. Despite his commitment, Notre Dame is still very much in the mix.
Auston Robertson and Austin Mack both hail from Fort Wayne. This past year, Notre Dame landed 4 players from the state of Indiana. Despite its national recruiting base, Notre Dame needs to fence of the Hoosier state and land its best prospects.
Lokeni Toailoa idolizes former Notre Dame Linebacker Manti Te’o. This adoration should give Brian Kelly & Co. the opportunity to land one of the best interior Linebackers in then country.
Parker Boudreaux, the 9th player on the list, is one of the best interior Offensive Linemen. If Notre Dame lands Boudreaux, Kraemer and Eichenberg in one class, the Irish will have the best Offensive Line since 1993.
