Neither team will go very deep

Neither Notre Dame or Northeastern will go very deep on the bench. But as has been the case most of this season, the Irish bench has been a critical piece to their success. V.J. Beachem and Colson are the only two to get consistent minutes off the bench, but Brey has gone deeper earlier in the season.

With only two bench players averaging double-digits in minutes played for the Huskies, it’s going to be the starters who make most of the difference in this first round game, and that will heavily favor the Irish.
