On a mission that won’t be stopped

Okay, maybe I’m being a little dramatic. But Northeastern won’t be the team to stop this tourney run. I think the combination of Grant and Connaughton, coupled with Brey and the teams ACC tourney win–there’s a confidence in this team like no other.

And not to be confused with cocky. They know who’s in their bracket. And they know that to make it to the Final Four, they may have to play that team. There’s a lot of “if anyone can beat Kentucky, it’s Notre Dame. But they won’t.”

Well, go back and look at the predictions of the ACC Tourney, before the Irish played Duke, and then North Carolina. We had already beaten each once, but NO ONE thought they could beat Duke, more less both on consecutive nights on Tobacco Row.

I’m perfectly content with the bit of hope combined with that doubt.
