Notre Dame Basketball: Can They Beat the Kentucky Wildcats?
Do as they’ve done and protect the ball

Notre Dame is fourth in the nation with an assist to turnover ratio of 1.60. when you essentially are playing three to four guards on the floor, that will help. But the Irish make great decisions, and Grant and Demetrius Jackson give them the luxury of two point guards. And Kentucky is likely to make them need both.
West Virginia was known for the press defense. The Wildcats turned the tables and never gave them a chance. The Irish are likely to see that press as well. And while they haven’t had many issues with it this year, they also haven’t seen a whole lot either.
The Shockers pressed some, but it was too little, too late. They did however force a few turnovers on Jackson–something that he rarely does. Notre Dame will need every possession to count, and not turning it over will go a long way to that.
