Shooting Guard: Junior Steve Vasturia (10.1 PPG, 3.0 RPG, 1.7 APG)

The baby-faced assassin proved that his appearance in no way correlates to his play on the court. Vasturia hit some of the biggest shots of the season. He knocked down corner 3-pointers against Duke, North Carolina and Butler. Each sealed an Irish victory.

Vasturia averaged 10.1 points and 1.7 assist per game. In 2015-2016, he will need to score more and definitely pick up on his assists. Vasturia likely has this ability to make the critical pass. However, he was typically on the receiving end of a Jerian Grant assist.

Vasturia also checked almost every team’s top scorer. He averaged a little over a steal per game. Obviously, Grant received most of the notoriety but Vasturia did the dirty work.
