Mosqueda-Lewis can shoot UConn to the title if the Irish aren’t careful

Having as many weapons on the floor as possible is what can make a basketball team dangerous, no matter what level you’re talking about. Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis can be one of the most dangerous, as she set the record for most three-pointers in Division I history against Dayton in the Elite Eight.

And she isn’t even their best player.

While the Irish will have to contend with All-Everything Breanna Stewart, Mosqueda-Lewis will be lingering around looking to put three-point daggers in the Irish at every opportunity. For McGraw, it may be a pick your poison type of defense.

Hannah Huffman has seen more minutes this postseason, as a “jill-of-all-trades”. But her defense has been at the center, and it showed in the closing moments of the South Carolina game. McGraw may choose to stick Huffman on Mosqueda-Lewis and try to make things difficult on here all game. Similar to the how the Notre Dame men played Kentucky, she may trade two’s to stop the three.
