Tarean Folston – Jr. – Running Back – Notre Dame Football

When Notre Dame defeated LSU, then Sophomore Running Back commanded the attention of his teammates during a speech following the game.

As the video above shows, Folston really commands the respect of his teammates. He is definitely not afraid to be vocal. However, it is to be a great leader and vocal individual when everything is going right. Can Folston be that type of leader when things are tough and not going well.

Folston is definitely a dark-horse candidate to be a captain. Although Cam McDaniel was a captain in 2014, it is definitely difficult to be a captain from the Running Back position. In today’s game, the Running Back is not always on the field. It may be harder for Folston to lead if he is off the field, trying to get rest.

Regardless of whether or not Folston is a captain, it is important to have a player who wants the ball and will be vocal when the game is on the line.
