Cuffee hails from Waco, Texas where he attends Waco High School. He checks in at 6’0″ and weighs in at 190 lbs.

The 4-star prospect holds offers from Notre Dame, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas, Alabama, Arizona State, Arkansas, Auburn, Baylor, Boise State, California, Illinois, Kansas, Kansas State, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Mississippi State, Missouri, North Carolina, North Texas, Northwestern, Ole Miss, Oregon State, Purdue, San Diego State, SMU, Stanford, Texas A&M, Tulsa, UCF, UCLA, Vanderbilt and Florida.

The 247Sports Composite ranks Cuffee as the 267th prospect and 23rd Cornerback prospect in 2016 class.

Experts currently predict that TCU will land Cuffee over Baylor and Texas. Notre Dame can jump to the front with an excellent visit.

Notre Dame already holds commitments from 14 prospects including Defensive Backs Julian Love, Spencer Perry and Jalen Elliot. The Irish obviously want to add another DB to the group.

Cuffee only has a visit scheduled to South Bend. He definitely has a strong interest in the Fighting Irish. But, it is going to be difficult for Notre Dame to beat the in-state programs.

Notre Dame needs to play well against the Longhorns on September 5th to impress not only Cuffee but a large group of recruits. Head Coach Brian Kelly and the Irish staff have loaded up on visiting prospects for the night clash. The visitors include Defensive Back Donte’ Vaughn, Defensive Back Chanse Sylvie, Running Back Melquise Stovall, Athlete Demetris Robertson, Defensive Back D.J. Morgan, Defensive Back Lamar Jackson, and Offensive Linemen commitment Parker Boudreaux.
