The 5-star Wide Receiver will visit Notre Dame on October 17th for the Irish matchup against USC. He will also visit Michigan State on September 12th.
Craig-Myers hails from Tampa, Florida. He plays for Tampa Catholic High School. He checks in at 6’2” and weighs 205 lbs.
He holds 47 scholarship offers including Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Ohio State, Alabama, LSU, Michigan State, Clemson, Georgia, Miami (FL), Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas A&M, UCLA and USC.
According to the 247Sport Composite, all collection of all recruiting rankings, Craig-Myers ranks as the top Wide Receiver and the 19th overall prospect in the nation.
Craig-Myers participated in Nike’s Elite Camp, “The Opening”. At the combine, he ran a 4.62 40-yard dash. He also had a 32 inch vertical jump.
Experts believe that Craig-Myers will select the Florida State Seminoles over the Auburn Tigers, Florida Gators and Ohio State Buckeyes. He originally committed to Auburn on July 21, 2014 before de-committing on May 6, 2015.
Notre Dame’s chances improved significantly with the visit. However, based on the predictions, it is going to be difficult for anybody including the Irish to pull the 5-star Wide Receiver from the Sunshine state. But, his value is clear and it is worth the shot.
He is the type of player that Notre Dame has not had on the roster since 2011 when Michael Floyd who caught 100 passes for 1147 yards and 9 touchdowns.
Craig-Myers will participate in the Under Armour All-American Game. A player of his caliber will likely commit during that week. If Notre Dame has a great season, he may select the Irish.
