2. Bobo Beathard, Appalachian State WR
Biographical Information: Senior wide receiver from Haymarket, Virginia. Birthday is September 11th, 1992. Father is a scout for the Carolina Panthers and his grandfather Bobby is the former GM of the Washington Redskins and San Diego Chargers. Majoring in health promotion. Member of Appalachian State athletics’ academic honor roll and was also a member of Southern Conference academic honor roll. Son of Michelle Palumbo and Jeff Beathard.
Fun Fact from Official Team Bio: Is admired for his toughness and versatility, as can be seen in the quote from his bio, “A favorite of the coaching staff for his toughness and versatility”
Why I love the name: Best DJ name in the country, hands down. Bobo as a first name is catchy, quick, and up-tempo, considering it’s a name you just can’t manage to protract or say with any sort of lethargic attitude. This makes it the perfect name to pair with a last name like Beathard, which obviously lends itself to producing some of the most mind-melting playlists possible for your party, event, or gala.
“DJ Bobo Beathard, coming at you live from Spring Break ‘16 at PCB! Hope everyone’s had an awesome time down here, now let’s crank it up a notch with my latest mashup party playlist!!!!”
