1. Lion King, Eastern Michigan DL

Biographical Information: Freshman defensive lineman from Southfield, Michigan. Biology major. Once returned a fumble 27 yards for a touchdown against Bloomfield Hills in high school. Son of Diane and Rudy Conaway.

Fun Fact from Official Team Bio: Was ranked as the 129th best player in Michigan as a senior in high school

Why I love the name: I had a teacher at the Catholic high school I attended who said singing was like praying twice (in that it is doubly effective/powerful). I think the linked song says at least twice as much about this perfect college football name than anything I write ever could, so I’m going to just end it with this: Naaaaaaaaaaants ingonyama bagithi Baba.
