21. Bayle Wolf, Army LB

Biographical Information: Sophomore linebacker from Wilmington, Ohio. Was named 2013 Ohio Offensive Player of the Year as a senior in high school, and was selected as a 2013 Max Preps second-Team All American. Also played baseball (center field and shortstop) in high school. Is the first member of his family to embark on a military career. Parents’ names are Travis and Emma Lee.

Fun Fact from Official Team Bio: He enjoys spending time with friends and family

Why I love the name: I’m pretty sure high schoolers read about him every year, and there was even a full-length feature film made about his adventures. He plays linebacker, which seems pretty perfect for a man who spends his free time battling giant monsters and dragons. Congrats to him as well for being named King of Geatland (whatever that is, I’ve never read this epic hero’s story, just his Wikipedia), as that is an honor that has never been bestowed on literally any other player in the country.
