Notre Dame VS Wake Forest

Earlier this week Notre Dame was moved up to 4th place in the College Football Playoffs poll, which almost means that if Notre Dame were to win out the rest of the season, they would most likely be in the playoffs. The Irish will try to make that happen but first must look to avoid a major upset as they take on Wake Forest.

Wake Forest is coming into this game off of a bye week, with a 3-6 record after losing three straight games. It is highly unlikely, but if Wake Forest is able to get of to a quick start and Notre Dame struggles, momentum and emotions can do very odd things and Wake Forest making this a game would be just another example. For this to happen Wake Forest would still have to play a flawless game.

As of now it seams as though Josh Adams will get the most reps at running back this week. C.J. Prosise suffered a concussion in the last and is still going through protocol. Brian Kelly said that he would be a game time decision.

More from Slap the Sign

All though Notre Dame’s game in Boston for the Shamrock Series game is considered a home game for the Irish, this will be their last true home game of the season and also senior day. Fortunately for ND this will not be Will Fullers last home game. Fuller announced earlier in the week that he would return for his senior season, saying that he came to South Bend for a degree. With the emotions around senior day and the playoffs on the line, look for the Irish to take this game just as serious as any other.
