Taylor was a captain his senior year and started the last 30 games of his career. He won the Lombardi Award in 1993 and was a finalist for the Outland Trophy as he helped lead Notre Dame to a 12-1 record. There may not have been a better offensive lineman that has ever worn the golden dome.
