Quick Facts: Burgett is a 6’9″ senior forward from Avon, Indiana, and serves as a captain alongside Jackson, Auguste, and Steve Vasturia. He doesn’t play much, but from all knowledge is a great locker room guy and hilarious personality, which every team needs to stay loose in tense times.

Austin Burgett is a Twitter star, plain and simple.

Whether it’s his budding bromance with walk-on Matt Gregory…

His propensity for excellent mutton chops…

His sneaky athleticism…

His fantastic ability to find uncanny doppelgangers for professional athletes…

And let us not forget when he tickled our collective fancy and stumped our minds with some Twitter brain-busters:

Burgett just understands how to entertain on the Twitter platform. And, as a huge Spongebob fan, don’t get me started on how happy some references like these make me:

Take into account the number of his tweets that have been used for other players’ pTbs, and his work in those videos alongside Gregory, and it’s clear why Burgett scores so high in these rankings. Smitty Werbenjagermanjensen may have been number one, but Burgett was right behind him at number two.
