Quick Facts: Matt is a 6’1″ sophomore point guard from New Jersey. He has served as the primary back-up to Demetrius Jackson so far this season, averaging 14.4 minutes, 2.9 points, 1.4 assists, and 1.1 rebounds per game.

In my original Google Document where I organized my thoughts on the players’ pTbs (plural form of personal Twitter brand, abbreviated), I had many links to Matt Farrell tweets that I found interesting. However, sometime in the past month or two, @MattyFarr3 has chosen to lock down his account, making all of his Twitter musings private.

So, below is the only tweet I was able to embed before that lockdown. Please read it thoroughly and let me know if it rings any bells.

If you said that this was definitely from the critically-acclaimed 2007 motion picture Stomp the Yard, you are exactly right. I am a huge fan of that movie, as many of my friends can attest, and so this tweet speaks volumes for Matt’s pTb.

However, with the lack of other tweets to analyze here, it’s hard to move Matt any further up the rankings without seeming like a creepy stalker and requesting to follow his protected tweets. However, what I can remember from those tweets I had planned to include here, I can tell you that Matt Farrell freaking loves the movie Goodfellas. Like, a lot.

Final thoughts: Matt will make a couple appearances later in this list. Because I didn’t want to be redundant in this important and formal study of pTbs, I decided to only use certain tweets once, and felt the ones you will see Matt in later were more important parts of other players’ pTbs than Matt’s. He is clearly a great teammate, as he can be attributed with assists on many of the tweets that score points for his fellow Irish basketballers.
