ESPN’s College Basketball Gameday is coming back to South Bend Indiana for some Notre Dame Basketball.

The ESPN College Gameday road show for college basketball will return to Notre Dame on Saturday, February 6 for Notre Dame’s game against the North Carolina Tar Heels. The game will be broadcast on ESPN with the tip off scheduled for 7:00 PM. The ESPN announcers will be Jay Bilas, Dan Shulman, and Shannon Spake.

The Gameday program will be broadcast from 11:00 to 12:00 (noon) inside beautiful Purcell Pavilion, and the doors will be open for any and all to attend at 9:00 AM… FREE OF CHARGE- so if you’re up there, get your but over to the show and let ESPN, the ACC, and North Carolina know you mean business.

North Carolina is currently ranked #2 in the country with the Irish currently ranked #25 (although that may change before the game is played). North Carolina is currently undefeated in conference play with an edge for a #1 seed in the ACC tournament over Louisville and Miami.

The Irish went 2-1 against North Carolina last year with both wins coming away from Purcell Pavilion. The first win was in Chapel Hill and the second came in the ACC Tournament in Greensboro and served as another stepping stone for Notre Dame as they were on their way to winning the ACC Championship.

This game will come as the third game in one week for the Irish and hopefully they aren’t too tired. It also remains to be seen what the status of guard Demetrius Jackson will be moving forward, after his leg injury that kept him out of most of the Boston College game and all of the Syracuse loss.
