Notre Dame Football: National Signing Day Tracker

Keep track of Notre Dame’s commits as they send in their letters of intent.

IT’S FINALLY HERE! SIGNING DAY IS HERE Y’ALL!

After a year and a half (though in a lot of cases much longer) the recruits for the incoming class of 2016 are ready and willing to fax in their letters of intent (take a moment and chuckle loudly to yourself… FAX MACHINES).

Signing Day has a chance to be full of surprises as there are a handful of Notre Dame prospects ready to announce their school of choice, and despite all of the “intel” on each of these recruits pointing one way or another… there is still a chance.

All signs point to NO surprises when it comes to the 17 commits that Notre Dame will be waiting on for their letters of intent. Of the 22 committed recruits, 5 of them are already on campus and enrolled, while those other 17 are solid.

The 5 recruits that are already enrolled are:

  • Safety Devin Studstill
  • Safety Spencer Perry
  • Linebacker Daelin Hayes
  • Defensive End Khalid Kareem
  • Wide Receiver Kevin Stepherson

Obviously with the struggles Notre Dame had on defense last year, it’s a nice sign that four of the five early entry recruits are on the defensive side of the ball.

So… LET THE FUN BEGIN!

We will list the recruits after each letter of intent is received and acknowledged by Notre Dame. Slap The Sign will also have more coverage throughout the day with some position group capsules, Twitter shenanigans, commentary and coverage on some of the announcements, and right around the time of Caleb Kelly’s announcement, there will be a Google Hangout with a panel of Slap the Signers & Her Loyal Sons peeps.
