#6 Texas

  • 5 Players
  • Average Star Rating: 3.8
  • Biggest Loss: Jalen Guyton WR
  • Top Newcomer: NONE

Of all of the states on this list, Texas has the most potential for Notre Dame. While most other states on this list got gains this season, the Irish struck out in the Lone Star state. It would appear hat the loss of Kerry Cooks is still affecting Notre Dame here. This state is LOADED with talent, but after a few years of nice little hauls, Notre Dame is losing whatever foothold they were creating.

Texas has a ton of players, but they also have a lot of big time colleges. As Texas fades a bit, Baylor and TCU rise. Notre Dame has to find a way to get back into the mix though- especially as Texas A&M gets weird, and the Oklahoma schools lose the recruiting steam they once had.
