Chicago Bulls – No.14 Pick

24. . Guard. Notre Dame. Demetrius Jackson. 14. player

Now in my opinion I think Chicago would be the best spot for Jackson. You’re probably asking, “BUT WHAT ABOUT DERRICK ROSE?!” Well Rose is going into the last year of his contract and his skills have diminished since a series of knee injuries, so the Bulls may be very well ready to move on.

Jackson has tons of upside, and has the potential to be the franchise point guard Bulls fans once dreamed of with Rose. Again Jackson would only have to spend a year playing behind Rose, but the following year a starting spot would be all his. A year sitting behind a player like Rose would certainly help Jackson’s development.

Jimmy Butler just signed a longterm contract last offseason, so Butler and Jackson would form a pretty formidable duo for years to come. The downside about being drafted by the Bulls is that it doesn’t look like they are in any position to seriously win in the foreseeable future. Yes they have some nice pieces such as Butler, Nikola Mirotic and Doug McDermott, but unless they are able to go out and sign Kevin Durant this offseason (which they probably won’t) the Bulls aren’t winning anytime soon.
