Skylar Diggins is getting married y’all.

Skylar Diggins was one of the greatest weapons in Notre Dame women’s basketball history. She was also one of the greatest weapons in Notre Dame football recruiting history.

That pretty much makes her one of the greatest Notre Dame athletes to ever play under the Golden Dome.

Diggins is officially off the market as she just got engaged to former Notre Dame wide receiver and a fellow native of South Bend, Daniel Smith. Smith and Diggins have been dating for what seems like forever- but for records same, it can be traced back to their days together at Notre Dame.

While at Notre Dame, Skylar Diggins made a big name for herself as not only a world class athlete that dominated the basketball court, but also as an honest to goodness sex symbol (and I say that with all due respect). So visible was Diggins, rapper Lil Wayne made multiple mentions about her and wore her jersey at shows, calling her “wifey.”

The Notre Dame football team routinely had Skylar drop by to say “hi” to recruits on their visits, and by all accounts, it worked quite well.

All of this, and Mr. Daniel Smith was with her and plotting to make Skylar Diggins his wifey for real.
