Once DelVaughn Alexander got a chance to look at his film, Isaah Crocker got the offer.

Brian Polian had been contacting Isaah Crocker for a few weeks regarding wanting him at Notre Dame.
Unfortunately, DelVaughn Alexander had been busy with an issue away from the program and hadn’t been able to have a look at his film. Crocker was sitting without an offer from Notre Dame, one that he wanted.
That all changed last night.
“Coach Polian called me and he said that they were supposed to offer me earlier. The wide receiver had some family problems so they were just waiting for his approval. He talked to the coaching staff and they liked the way I high pointed the ball and all that,” Crocker explained.
“They also looked at that USC Sports clip that they made for me, a little highlight film that the Adidas West Coast Invitational Camp made. They liked that a lot. They just liked my film so they called me to offer me up.”

I asked Isaah if a visit was on the horizon. Here’s what he told me.
“He (Brian Polian) asked me about that too. I was very interested in it and I wanted to do it. I told him to call Coach T about it so we can get out there and see what it’s like in the east cause I’ve never been out there. It was a big offer.”
"“That was a huge off that I just received.”"
Isaah spoke to me about his plan going forward.
“I’m giving it time. I’m not cutting down a list right now. I’m just trying to see what type of schools want me the most and give me the most interest. That’s when I’m going to start picking and choosing my path. ”
“I just received my first offer about a month ago, so, I’m not cutting off any schools right now cause so many schools are showing me love. I want to see which schools are showing more interest down the stretch.”
Isaah Crocker is also a very talented basketball player. He’s really taken to football in the last few years but feels his highly regarded football skills are a result of playing basketball since a youngster. He explained.
“Football always was a secondary sport for me. Basketball runs in my family. My father played basketball at San Fransisco State and also played overseas. He got me into basketball when I was three.”
“Football hadn’t been my number 1 sport until I got to high school in terms of getting better. Ever since I touched down as a sophomore playing varsity, I blew up. That’s all because of my basketball situation.”
Notre Dame has offered many talented receivers in the class of 2018. I personally think Isaah Crocker would be a great addition the the Irish Z, or slot, position.
