Notre Dame Football: Film And Breakdown Of 4 Recent WR Offers
Michael Wilson is the third California receiver the Irish offered lately. His offer list is impressive with Arizona State, Cal, Oregon, UCLA, Utah and Washington among many more. His Yale offer shows that he certainly has the grades to make it in the doors at Notre Dame.
After watching Wilson’s film, how he isn’t ranked in the top 100 in every recruiting service’s rankings is beyond me.
I can’t really find any knocks in his game.
He has prototypical receiver size, great speed, elite route running and polish, shows he’s an efficient and tough blocker, makes big plays for his team and is truly dynamic after the catch. He can change direction very quickly and make defenders miss.
I think Wilson will be a very successful college receiver. He shows college level intangibles on the field for one of the stronger California prep programs.
Wilson is one of the best receivers in California, an impressive accomplishment. In his junior year, he caught 70 passes for 1,278 yards and 12 touchdowns.
An important note is that TJ Pledger, one of the best running backs in the country, was the running back in his offense this year and rushed for 1,900 yards. With him moving on to IMG Academy, Wilson will now be the focal point of the offense.

He could be about to put up big numbers in ’17. I could see his stock sky rocketing during his senior year.
Look for DelVaughn Alexander and Brian Polian to recruit this young man very hard.
