In a game the Fighting Irish should win with ease, the class of 2017 will be looking to earn their final victory in South Bend. As fans say goodbye to their beloved seniors on Senior Night, Mike Brey and Notre Dame will be hoping to continue building momentum heading into their pivotal showdown with Louisville to end the regular season; a game that may decide the seeding in the ACC Tournament.

In their first meeting, Boston College seemed to have all the energy in the first half, taking a 10-point lead heading into halftime. But, eventually they fell apart, and Notre Dame outscored the Eagles 45-27 in the final 20 minutes.

This game should be more of the second half of the first matchup. Boston College has lost 12-straight games while Notre Dame is on a five-game winning streak. It isn’t likely that win two games left, the Irish are going to start losing to teams they shouldn’t lose to. Although they haven’t been perfect all season, they have proven enough times that they’re a threat to anyone in the country.

Against a team who is struggling as much as the Eagles are, the Irish will be looking to just work out last minute kinks before heading to Louisville. In a game that could decide who finishes second in the ACC, the Irish don’t want to walk in with lingering questions about their lineup.

When you look at Boston College, Ky Bowman and Jerome Robinson may be the only threat the Irish. These two underclassman guards have been the only positive note for the Eagles all season. But even the best players in the world can’t win on their own, and these two have almost nothing else to work off of on this roster.

Notre Dame will win this one easy. When Matt Farrell and Steve Vasturia shut down Bowman and Robinson, the Eagles will have no one left to produce any offense. From there, the Irish can focus on perfecting their game and let their seniors celebrate their final home game in South Bend.
