Notre Dame Basketball: Irish vs Florida State Live Stream
Notre Dame basketball takes on Florida State in the semifinals of the 2017 ACC Tournament. Watch the Irish and Seminole online.
The Fighting Irish and Seminoles compete for a chance to play in the 2017 ACC Championship and win the season series, currently tied at a game a piece. With a lot on the line, both of these teams will put everything they have on the court for a chance to win the conference title.
A win would go farther than playing in the title game, though. Adding another top 25 win to your resume this late in the season would almost guarantee either of these teams a jump in the NCAA Tournament seeding. With Kansas and Baylor losing, the opportunities are wide open for FSU and Notre Dame.
This matchup will rely on heavily on four players. Bonzie Colson and Matt Farrell will be the two leading the Irish, while Dwayne Bacon and Jonathan Isaac are the stars for the Seminoles. As the battle for the frontcourt begins with Colson and Isaac searching for yet another ACC Tournament double-double, Farrell and Bacon will compete to claim the perimeter and add the offensive spark their school needs.
It’s tough to call this one. Notre Dame has the hot hand right now, but FSU isn’t anything to take lightly. Both teams are coming off a middle of the pack win and will play much better competition between themselves. But when it comes down to it, the Irish have too much going on with this new lineup to fall to Florida State again.
It’ll be a close game right until the very end. But now that the Irish are rested, they’re more dangerous than they’ve been all season. If they can come out hot like they did against Virginia, they can beat any team in the ACC. Florida State, on the other hand, has been off and on lately, which could hurt their momentum.
The Irish should claim this win and head to the ACC Championship for the second time in three years.
