Chase Williams is considered one of the top recruits in the state of California. He proves to be a talented player on both sides of the ball, which you can see in his junior year Hudl film further down in this article.
“I’ve been hearing from them for months actually, from previous coaches and some new coaches. They had just kept saying they liked my film and were interested. Now they just want to get me up there,” said Chase regarding his contact with Notre Dame.
Chase plays both receiver and defensive back at a high level for his California program. “As far as I know, they are recruiting me as an athlete, so both offense and defense, receiver and defensive back,” said Williams.

Being one of the top football recruits in the country, many schools are interested in Chase Williams. “UCLA, USC, Washington, Notre Dame and ASU are recruiting me the hardest,” he said.
“I like Notre Dame a lot and I just want to get up to the school and see how it is. I just look forward to seeing the culture of the school and how the team is, academics and the school itself,” said WIlliams.
I asked Williams if he had a top group or decision date in mind at this point. He replied, “I don’t have a top group but Notre Dame is definitely a high interest. I don’t have a decision date but I know I’ll be committing late-August.”
The Irish have many high-priority recruits scheduled for upcoming visits this spring. Chase Willliams would be a great addition to either Notre Dame’s talented receivers or defensive backs groups.
