George Takacs is a 6’7, 236 pound Florida tight end with solid blocking skills and ability to work his way open in traffic and reel in the football when it’s thrown his way.

He put up eye-popping numbers at his local regionals for The Opening and as a result, “Got Open” which got him invited to the national event ‘in Beaverton, Oregon. Takacs scored a 101.49 Nike score with a 4.87 sec. 40-yard dash, a 4.47 sec. agility drill as well as a 40 foot powerball throw, all impressive numbers.

Takacs is also a great student, with offers from Notre Dame, Vanderbilt and Duke. He shows a lot of the skills that college coaches want to see in a tight end. His refined blocking technique and ability to run tight end specific routes well, make him a big time prospect and he has the offer list to prove it, in the mid 20’s in total.

All things considered, this kid deserves a much higher ranking that the mid-3 star ranking he has from most services. He projects to be too dynamic to be outside of the 4 star level.
