When I watch Warren Ericson on film, I see a huge-framed, technically sound offensive lineman from SEC country who has a bright will start for a strong Power 5 program and have a great career. This is why I placed him in my last Hot 5 Big Board.

Ericson plays in a highly competitive division in Georgia where a lot of division 1 talent is bred. Ericson shows that he has received great coaching in the way he maintains effective pad level as well as solid blocking technique.

He always finishes his blocks and is a true bully on the football field. His frame reminds me of Quenton Nelson’s in how wide his upper body is. At 290 pounds, Ericson doesn’t have a lot of bad weight. I think he will end up over 320 pounds easily, by the time he is an upperclassmen.

Ericson currently holds 20 offers, including Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Notre Dame, Alabama, Ole Miss, LSU, Miami, Clemson and many more. The fact that he’s a consensus 3 star baffles me. I’m sure his ranking will raise considerably in the future.

He visited Notre Dame not too long ago and they remain in constant contact. Considering Harry Heistand doesn’t hand out many offers to offensive lineman, they are very likely high on Ericson.
