Quinn Carroll is one of the most talked about offensive lineman in the country, regardless of class. He has racked up a massive offer list which includes; Alabama, Florida State, Miami, Georgia, USC, Michigan, Auburn and LSU, just to name a few.

Carroll was recently ranked in the top 100 in 247Sports rankings for 2019 recruits. I caught up with the big-time bookend from Minneapolis to talk about his recent visit to South Bend.

“I had a blast. I loved meeting all of the coaches and being able to sit down with coach Hiestand,” said Carroll. “Coach Hiestand and I talked about the faithfulness in Notre dames program and how much his players love him.”

The 6’6, 290-pound behemoth also got to rub elbows with current players while on campus. “I got to meet all of the offensive linemen. They all introduced themselves and were very polite,” mentioned Carroll.

Quinn made the trip to South Bend with his ex-Hokie brother Collin, who their father has appointed to spearhead Quinn’s extremely active recruitment. “He’s done a phenomenal job. I assume he loves to do it as well. It’s been a fun ride handling the process with him,” added Quinn.

Quinn’s father, Jay Carroll, played for the Vikings after growing up in Minnesota where he then raised his family that included five boys who all played football. Out of curiosity, I asked Quinn what he thought of the Minnesota Vikings.

“I’ve always been a Vikings fan but recently I’ve become a Bills fan. My brother played with Tyron Taylor at Virginia Tech and I love Richie Incognito’s play,” stated Quinn.

Quinn, who’s offer list grew to 25 yesterday with offers rolling in from the Florida and Colorado, continues to attract attention from strong college football programs nationwide.

As he has been making his rounds to campuses across the country with his brother by his side, I asked if he’s starting to get an idea of who his top group may be. “I don’t have a top list yet but I’m sure I will soon,” answered Carroll.

Quinn Carroll has a bright future ahead of him. I’ve spoken with him on several occasions and went in-depth on his football career and family dynamics recently and it’s safe to say that Quinn was born to be a successful college offensive lineman.
