Georgia

This will be the first meeting between the Fighting Irish and Bulldogs since their national championship game in the 1981 Sugar Bowl, and it has all the tools to make or break each team’s season early on.  Georgia has every reason to be excited about this upcoming season and a loss in week two could crush their hopes early on.

For Notre Dame, there is no better way to establish themselves as contenders once again with a win over Georgia.

Georgia will likely sit at top of the SEC East but there are still concerns about their offensive line. The line struggled last year and lost three starters. But one of the returning members of the line is Isaiah Wynn who has been solid at left guard and brings some much-needed experience to help protect second year quarterback Jacob Eason.
