Tight End – Tommy Tremble – Wesleyan – Norcross, Georgia

Notre Dame’s pursuit of Tommy Tremble continues to lag on. Many people believed during the summer that Tremble would commit to the Irish. It is now November and he has not made a decision.

Tremble hails from Norcross, Georgia. He plays for Wesleyan School. According to the 247Sports Composite, he ranks as the 507th prospect and 23rd Tight End in the country.

He holds offers from 26 schools including Georgia, UCLA, Auburn, Ole Miss and Tennessee. An interesting note from his offer is that IVY League schools including Yale, Princeton, Penn, Dartmouth and Columbia.

Tremble is the son of former Georgia Defensive Back Greg Tremble. This connection to the Bulldogs might drive him to committing to Athens. However, his offer list indicates the Tremble is really keen on academics.

The Fighting Irish might be one of the best options for Tremble. Notre Dame, despite a loss to Miami (FL), is one of the best teams in the country right now. Their academics are one of the strongest in the country. In addition, the current Offensive Coordinator coaches the Tight Ends. Chip Long has shown that he wants to use Tight Ends in various ways: inline, as a full back, as an H back and split out wide.

This combination is best option for Tremble. The majority of experts believe so as well. 87% of experts believe that he will select the Irish over the Bulldogs.

This is more likely a matter of when than if.
