Notre Dame Football: Top 5 Wide Receivers Irish Will Face in 2018
By Jack Leniart
5. Bennett Skowronek (Northwestern)
Skowronek is a big target for the Northwestern Wildcats — literally. His 6′ 4″ 218-pound frame creates a match-up problem for most college cornerbacks.
He led his team in receiving yards and touchdowns last season, finishing with 45 catches for 644 yards and 5 TDs, and he figures to be their top target in 2018.
Northwestern is typically a run-first team. If they’re able to run the ball effectively next season, expect Skowronek to take advantage of openings in the passing game as a result.
