Notre Dame Football: Top 5 Wide Receivers Irish Will Face in 2018
By Jack Leniart
1. Tyler Vaughns (USC)
Oh, USC has another highly-rated receiver with NFL potential? Shocker. The rich get richer.
Vaughns was a superstar freshman that put the PAC-12 on notice last season. He finished the year with 57 catches for 809 yards and 5 TDs.
Those stats are made even more impressive when you take into consideration that Vaughns had to compete with Deontay Burnett for targets. Burnett had over 1100 yards receiving and should hear his name called in the NFL draft in the coming days.
With the departures of Burnett and Steven Mitchell Jr, Vaughns is set to become the number one receiver for the Trojans in 2018, a role that has consistently yielded impressive statistics in the past.
