at Wake Forest

Best: Wake Forest is still struggling to replace quarterback John Wolford, and the defense is suffering without Duke Ejiofor and Jesse Bates. Notre Dame’s rushing attack dominance continues, racking up 250 yards of total rush offense.

The defense holds running back Matt Colburn to a weak day on the ground, and it’s another convincing win.

Worst: Quarterback Kendall Hinton steps in for Wolford and doesn’t miss a step. Hinton and Alex Bachman find the same chemistry that Wolford had. Matt Colburn has another 120 yard rushing day, this time finding the end zone more than once.

The game turns into another shootout, reminiscent of last year’s offensive outburst. This time, Wake comes in more prepared and steals a win from the Irish.
