Notre Dame Football: Top Defensive Players Irish Will Face in 2018
By Jack Leniart
7. Devin Bush (Linebacker, Michigan)
Bush was a rock in the middle of Michigan’s defense last season. While he benefited from playing behind a talented defensive line, he certainly brought a ton of value to this defense.
As a sophomore, he led the team in total tackles with 102. Sure, any starting linebacker can compile tackle stats over the course of a season, but Bush isn’t limited to just that.
He’s a dynamic playmaker that opposing offenses must account for. He finished the year with 9.5 TFL, 5 sacks, 1 INT, and 8 PBUs.
