6. Marvell Tell (Safety, USC)

Tell earned first team all PAC-12 honors after an excellent junior season last year. He finished the year with 85 total tackles, 2.5 TFL, 3 INTs, 2 QB hurries, and 2 PBUs.

Tell caught the attention of the USC coaching staff as soon as he stepped on campus. He appeared in 10 games as a true freshman, and has built on that in the seasons that have followed.

He has the discipline to meet his responsibilities in pass coverage and the eagerness to fly to the ball in run support, which all defensive coordinators love. With the departure of safety and senior captain Chris Hawkins, it’s likely that Tell’s production will see a significant increase in 2018.
