Another Michigan player?! What’s going on here? These guys are good, that’s what.
Winovich is another guy who may have flown under the radar last season due to the talent surrounding him on Michigan’s defense. Despite that, he made his presence felt.
He finished the yea with 79 total tackles, 18 TFL, 8 sacks, 6 QB hurries, 2 forced fumbles, and 2 fumble recoveries.
Winovich took advantage of the attention that Rashan Gary drew from most offenses. We can expect more of the same from him in 2018 as the Wolverines look to continue their success on defense.
