Defensive Back

Commits: Litchfield Ajavon (Virginia), Kyle Hamilton (Georgia), K.J. Wallace (Georgia)

Notre Dame could be done at defensive back altogether, but safety is definitely done with Hamilton and Ajavon locked in. Wallace could be the only corner taken as well, but the staff is holding out hope for an elite guy.

Woodi Washington and Max Williams are the top two targets of the staff.

Williams is probably more likely than Washington, but both are great talents.

Williams plans to use his official visit to Notre Dame on November 10th against Florida State. That visit will give us a good idea where Notre Dame stands, but I like their chances more than most.

Washington was up in South Bend for Notre Dame’s junior day, but since has been trending to Oklahoma. Getting him back on campus for an official visit is crucial if they plan to land him.

Others to watch include Isaiah Rutherford and Warren Burrell, but it would be fairly surprising if any traction happens with either player.

Next: Irish Add To "Tight End U"

Notre Dame is in a very good position with multiple 2019 targets. With limited spots remaining, it will surely be a less stressful finish come signing day. However, the Irish still have some needs to address and some high profile targets available.

Assuming all goes well, we are looking at another very solid recruiting class headed to Notre Dame this cycle.
