After another bye week, in which Alabama lost AGAIN, Notre Dame currently sits at No. 1! The Irish

handle Syracuse replacement Georgia Tech, 30-14.

11-0. One win from the Playoff…er, BCS Championship game.

Focusing strictly on possible championship contenders,No.2 Mississippi State and No. 3 Wisconsin — both undefeated — each won their games.

Week 14 brings the biggest and final game of the regular season: a matchup against disappointing 7-3 Stanford.

I’m not sure I want to similate this.

And now I sit here more deflated than a game used Tom Brady football, as the Irish take their first defeat of the season, 34-24.

It was a fun ride when it lasted. But hey, maybe Wimbush gets the Heisman?

I’m simulating straight to Heisman results because I need a pick me up from a painful, championship-ripping defeat.
