Notre Dame Football Assistants Have Bright Futures

Tom Rees (Quarterbacks) 

Call this off-base all you want, but this goes back to when Rees was the quarterback at Notre Dame. He was always considered smart over talented, and fans have been speculating since he graduated whether or not he would pursue coaching. Not to mention, his dad is a highly respected coaching mind.

After coaching stops with Northwestern and the San Diego Chargers following his career at Notre Dame, Kelly hired his favorite signal caller as the quarterbacks coach in 2017.

It might not come in the next few years, but you can bet that this kid will get a chance down the road.

The Brian Kelly coaching tree is better than ever, and that is a good thing for Notre Dame. Kelly has constructed a very quality staff over the past few seasons, and that should pay dividends both for the program and the coaches in the near future.
