Jon Bon Jovi

Bon Jovi arguably leads this list in terms of name recognition. The world-renowned platinum recording artist has blessed us all with countless hits that you are sure to hear at the next 80’s party you attend.

Bon Jovi has been an Irish fan for most of his life. His Notre Dame fandom likely intensified when his son, Jesse, joined the football team in 2013 as a cornerback. I imagine there are few things that rival the joy that comes from your son earning a spot on your favorite college football team’s roster.

Fun “fact”: Bon Jovi’s hit song You Give Love a Bad Name is about Notre Dame. The original lyrics were, “Shot through the heart and you’re to blame. I’m a fan of Notre Dame.”

*Editor’s note: That is not a fact. It’s just a bad joke.

The Notre Dame Band frequently pays homage to Bon Jovi by playing one of his greatest hits, Livin’ On a Prayer, much to the delight of the entire stadium.

Woooaaahhh we’re halfway through this liiist!
