While watching games, I stand or sit in a certain area of the living room based on how well they’re doing. Sitting on the couch with both feet up and we just turned it over? Time to stand with my arms crossed next to the coffee table.

I don’t really have any traditions, I’m extremely superstitious.

For one, when it’s game day, I wake up to the Notre Dame fight song. It has to play the whole way through. If it doesn’t, it must be played again until it’s appropriately stopped.

For the rest of the day, until the game ends, no Notre Dame logo can be face down for any reason. I go into a panic if this happens and spend the rest of the day thinking that if they lose, it’s somehow my fault.

My Notre Dame helmet’s facemask in the room also faces whichever way they’re going on offense. If it’s pointing straight at the tv, things probably aren’t going well. Also, changing shirts at halftime in extreme situations is a thing.
