All four Notre Dame players drafted in 2018 made the cut on their respective NFL teams.

The 32 NFL teams cut their rosters down to the mandated 53-man roster this past week. In all, 28 former Notre Dame football player found their way onto rosters, including all four players taken in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Also of note, former Irish quarterback DeShone Kizer made the Green Bay Packers roster in what appears to be a backup role to Aaron Rodgers. The Packers parted ways with Brett Hundley, who had occupied the No. 2 quarterback spot in 2017.

Linebacker Greer Martini was released by Green Bay but brought back as a member of the practice squad. Running back Josh Adams is in the same boat with the Philadelphia Eagles, finding a way to stay in the organization after battling it out in a loaded backfield.

Equanimeous St. Brown was one of eight toal receivers kept on the roster by the Packers. The takeaway there is that all of those guys are still fighting for reps and roles as Green Bay tries to put a group around Rodgers that can succeed.

The Irish are well-represented at every position outside of quarterback, where Kizer is the only former Notre Dame player at the position in the NFL.

Not surprisingly, six former Irish offensive linemen and four former tight ends occupy roster spots for NFL clubs.
