Several former Notre Dame Fighting Irish players made significant contributions to their respective NFL teams during opening weekend.

Week 1 of the NFL season is in the books. Some former Notre Dame players made their way into the box scores over the weekend.

Here’s how some of your favorite former Irish player performed during the NFL’s opening weekend.

Stephon Tuitt, DE, Steelers

Tuitt logged four tackles in the 21-21 ties with the Browns

Tyler Eifert, TE, Bengals

Eifert hauled in three passes for 44 yards in Cincinnati’s 34-23 win over thew Colts.

Matthias Farley, S, Colts

Farley had two tackles and a forced fumble in the loss to the Bengals.

Sheldon Day, DT, 49ers

Day got in one one tackle in San Fran’s 24-16 loss to the Vikings.

Harrison Smith, S, Vikings

Smith had eight tackles, one sack, one defended pass, a fumble recovery and the interception to seal Minnesota’s win over the 49ers.

Kyle Rudolph, TE, Vikings

Rudolph had one catch — an 11-yard touchdown grab — in Minnesota’s win.

Manti Te’o, LB, Saints

Te’o logged four tackles in the 48-40 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccanneers.

Isaac Rochelle, DE, Chargers

Rochelle had four tackles in L.A.’s 38-28 loss to the Chiefs.

Jaylon Smith, LB, Cowboys

Smith had four tackles and a sack in the 16-8 loss to Carolina.

DeShone Kizer, QB, Packers

Kizer filled in for Aaron Rodgers during the first half of Sunday night’s game after Rodgers left with an injury. He went 4 of 7 for 55 yards and an interception while he was in the game.

Theo Riddick, RB, Lions

Riddick carried the ball four times for 20 yard and caught five passes for 15 yards in Detroit’s 48-17 loss to the Jets.

Golden Tate, WR, Lions

Tate caught seven balls for 79 yards and a touchdown in the loss to the Jets.

T.J. Jones, WR, Lions

Jones caught one pass for six yards in Detroit’s loss.
