Bryce Love, Running Back

We don’t need to rehash Love’s stats from last year. Simply put, he was phenomenal. A dynamic back with the ability to gash any defense for a big gain, he always has the potential to be the biggest offensive weapon for Stanford on any given night and at any given moment.

His numbers are relatively modest thus far compared to last season, as he has accumulated 254 yards on 59 carries in three games in 2018. He missed the third game of the year against UC Davis to an injury but was a full-go against Oregon. He had a solid day with 89 yards on 19 carries with one touchdown.

Stanford’s offensive line will need to play its best game against Notre Dame’s defensive front in order to create lanes for Love to do his thing. If they can do this, watch for Bryce Love to have a big game.
