Notre Dame football is now 5-0 with a chance to improve to 6-0 for the first time since the 2014 season. If they do get to 6-0 this season, hopefully they avoid the late-season collapse that plagued the team in 2014. Enough about records. Let’s talk college fantasy football.

After a convincing (and thoroughly enjoyable) win over Stanford this past Saturday, Notre Dame football is 5-0. The undefeated Irish will be hitting the road this weekend and traveling to Blacksburg, Virginia, where they will play in yet another primetime game against a top-25 opponent.

The strength of this Notre Dame team continues to be its defense. That was very apparent this past weekend as they absolutely smothered the Stanford offense in the second half. I feel foolish for doubting them in last week’s edition of Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em.

Quarterback Ian Book had another great performance for the Irish — increasing his own fantasy football stock and the stock of some Irish pass-catchers. Running back Dexter Williams did not miss a beat in his first game back from suspension. His return came at a perfect time for the Notre Dame offense as Jafar Armstrong will be sidelined for the next two weeks.
