Alize Mack (TE)

The two most-impressive catches in Notre Dame-Florida State game last weekend were made by Alize Mack. it just so happened that both of those catches resulted in six points for the Irish.

It was Mack’s first game with multiple touchdown receptions in his Notre Dame career, and he was visibly fired up after his performance.

Even though he finished with three catches for 29 yards, that game was a huge for Mack. I think the momentum from that game will propel him to another great performance this weekend against Syracuse.

Mack has both a high ceiling ad a low floor this weekend. That might be more risk than some college fantasy football owners are willing to take in the first week of the playoffs. However, if you need to roll the dice to beat a higher-seeded team in your league, I would start Mack.
